How to Obtain Perfect Righteousness

There is a place in Christ Jesus where we no longer live under condemnation, but where Heaven is always open to us. A place of limitless power, untold resources, and Divine Life. Everything we need, to give us total victory over all the power of the Devil. Nothing can stop the child of God, filled with desire to press on into this life of true holiness, desiring only to glorify God.

Christianity : Christ in us. God living in human flesh. Our Father has designed that this works through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. The Lord Himself told us,

I am in the Father, and the Father in me Holy Bible Jn. 14:11 KJV

And He prayed for all believers in Him, that they should be one with Father, just as Christ is one with Him.

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;... That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Jn. 17:20-23 KJV

People who read this, and talk about unity in the Body of Christ are missing the point by a wide margin. Here is Christ's High Priestly prayer for each individual believer to be one with God, just as Christ is. You can't get more profound than that.

Did Our Father answer Christ's prayer? Of course He did, and He makes it good the moment a sinner comes to saving faith in Christ. Without this revelation you will always be falling short of your God given status in Christ Jesus. But once you've caught on to the wonder of being a child of God, you'll drive back the powers of darkness by your very presence, as you look to the Greater One within you. Oh what an inheritance is ours, when the very nature, the presence of the Father, Son and Spirit are made real in us.

Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: Ro. 3:22 KJV

That's always been God's purpose since the fall of mankind. As we lay hold of God's plan, fulfilled in us by faith, we will be invincible. Ever conscious of the blessed fact that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Scripture is not fulfilled until, by faith in Christ, your constant experience is the manifestation of God's life, power and love, through you.

Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous. Right standing with God was given to him on no other ground than that of believing God's promise. He was designated a friend on this basis alone. That is wonderful. But under the New Covenant, God has fulfilled His promise to Abraham (and more.)

all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him. Gen. 18:18 and 12:2-3 KJV

The One and Only Saviour, came through Abraham's line.

And by simple faith in Christ, anyone is made more than a friend of God. They become children of God. more than 'counted righteous', they are made righteous.

Before God's Blood was shed; under the Old Covenant, nobody was righteous, in nature.

They could do righteous acts, but not be righteous in nature.

When God referred to some people in the Old Testament as righteous, He was speaking of what they did, not what they were by nature. That's why God says;

There is none righteous, no, not one: Ro. 3:10 KJV

But after the Perfect Sacrifice was placed on the altar of Heaven, The new Covenant began.

Now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: (that Jesus died for them, and lives in them) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Ro. 3:21-22 and 25 KJV

Adam and Eve blew it, and brought death and shame on us all.

Jesus fixed it, and brings life and righteousness to all who receive Him.

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Ro. 5:19 KJV

When will believers be made righteous?

Now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: Ro. 3:22

God would have it no other way. Jesus died to make you righteous. Perfect righteousness is attained only one way. By receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour.

Are you righteous? I am. And I didn't do a thing to get it, except trust in Jesus Christ.

You can't earn it, or buy it, and you will never deserve it. It is God's Gift offered to everyone. Do you need God's righteousness now? You'll get nowhere without it. Receive Jesus Christ, and it is yours by grace, as long as you trust in Him. And remember, you can't improve it, so don't even try. Jesus did enough by dying for you to make you right with God forever, so repent and believe in Him.

Have you ever had a Minister of God tell you to sow some seed money to their church? So God will bless you? And have you ever wondered in your spirit? Is this what the Bible really teaches us about sowing and reaping?

Well, I have some good news from the word of God for you today. About giving money to Ministers. You are about to find out what God has to say. Now you will never be fooled again about this matter. 

Tithing Was NEVER About Money In The Bible.

Biblical teaching about Tithing was ALWAYS about agricultural, not money. Ministers of God today has twisted the word of God, to teach us a lie about the meaning of tithing, and have misled a lot of people to believe this lie. Yes, at one time I believed this lie also. How did these Ministers get away with this? Because very few people ever check out Gods word the Bible, to see if what these Ministers of God is teaching is the truth or a lie. 

These days, many churches has misled us into believing that 10% of our income belongs to the God or the church. Yes, this is true, we are being misled. Check it out for yourself.

In (Malachi 3:8), we read,

8. Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, "In what way have we robbed You?" In tithes and offerings.

When we read "Will a man rob God" it refers to robbing God in tithes and offerings, God is talking to the leaders (Ministers) in this verse, who have stole from God's storehouse!

Come To God Without Money. Keep Your Money In Your Pocket God says.

What was Isaiah trying to say to us, when he spoke these words in? (Isaiah 55:1) 

1. Every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 

Many people have heard this verse, "come without money", many of times. But there are many who have never heard this invitation come to God, "without money".

What does come "without money" mean? In the Old Testament the poor could not afford to buy things. But the rich could buy things, but no one can buy Salvation from God. Because Salvation is FREE!

There can not be any excuse for not becoming a Born Again Christian. They can't say, I'm poor I do not have the money to buy my Salvation or the rich person can not say I bought my salvation. We are all equal. Salvation is FREE! 

In (Acts 8:20) We read What Peter had to say, about those who gave or sowed a seed of faith money to Ministers of God, so they could receive a blessing from God. Remember, it was these Ministers of God, who deceived us all to believe this lie. So they could become wealth and live the life style of the rich and famous. God says avoid them. Will you obey God or man?

In (Acts 8:20). But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

Now you know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

OK, now about true Biblical tithing. 

If your church has a project that you are very interested in, and you feel led by the Holy Spirit to help fund it, go head. Tithing is a good thing to do. If it is to glorify God and not man.

Or, if your neighbor has lost their job and is struggling to pay their bills you should help them out. Listen, tithing is very important. But never feel obligated or forced to give because everyone else is doing it. And you don't want to feel like the only one who did not tithe.

The Supremacy of Christ:  Power, Purity and Promise



He is the greatest man to ever walk the earth.  He was perfect in his morality.  He was unsurpassed in his purity.  He was ultimately compassionate and just.  His justice stirred him to clear the temple of those who would desecrate it.  His compassion was revealed when he wept at the news of the death of a friend.  His humility was displayed when he threw the towel over his shoulder and washed the feet of his disciples.  His thirty-three years on this earth were brief.  His three year ministry is just a microscopic spec on the timeline of eternity.  Yet, his words and his actions profoundly changed the world forever.  Jesus is the true author of genuine hope and change and he bought that possibility for all of mankind by submitting to a brutal death on a cross protruding from a small piece of earth called Golgotha.

1.  He is supreme in his power.  He could awaken or paralyze a storm by the mere sound of his spoken word.  His power was such that the mere touch of his hand could bring the dead back to life.  The power that emanated from him was capable of healing those who could reach the hem of his garment.  He amazed his followers by turning water into wine, feeding five thousand people with a few fish and loaves and cleansing the leper by the mere touch of his hand.  Never has any living man been able to demonstrate power like Jesus did.

He often chose NOT to reveal his power.  He once looked out over the hills of a sinful city, Jerusalem, and instead of calling down deserved destruction as was done at Sodom and Gomorrah, he was overcome with compassion and cried out, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.” (Matthew 23:37)  He didn’t prevent the brutal death of John the Baptist, he could have.  He could have resisted his arrest by the Roman soldiers, he chose rather to accept the will of the Father.

They hung him on the cross.  They mocked him and tortured him and in their arrogance they challenged him, if he was indeed the Son of God, “come down from the cross and save yourself!" (Mark 15:30)  They laughed and slapped each other on the back as they invented new ways to humiliate Jesus.  But then their laughing stopped.  It was the power of Jesus hanging on the cross that caused the earth to shake. By his power the skies turned dark.  It was the incomprehensible power of Jesus that ripped the veil of the temple in half from top to bottom.  And in his mercy he checked his own power but please know:

He could have called ten thousand angels

To destroy the world and set Him free.

He could have called ten thousand angels,

But He died alone, for you and me.

2.  He is supreme in his purity.  Jesus never sinned.  Some would argue that he was the Son of God, it was not possible for him to sin.  I would beg to differ.  Scripture tells us that “we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15)

There has never walked on upon this earth one who was sinless and pure like Jesus.  We must know Him in his purity because his holiness qualifies him to be our Savior.  If Jesus was not sinless the lamb slain upon the cross is weak and helpless to save us from our sin.

Satan knew that the purity of Christ would save the souls of the lost.  So he led him out into the wilderness for forty days of temptation.  Satan did everything in his power to steal away the innocence of the Lamb.  He took him to a high spot and offered him the kingdoms of the world as if they were his to offer.  But Jesus refused to take the easy way and instead he chose to purchase his kingdom with his own blood and the purity of Jesus was preserved and we should praise him and worship him because of the supremacy of his purity.

3.  He is supreme in his promise.  We are so careless to break promises.  50% of Americans marry and promise their spouse everlasting love and then break that promise.  We find ourselves in serious trouble financially or relationally or emotionally and we make promises to God, “If only you will get me out of this mess.”  And when we feel comfortable again we forget our promises to him.

Please know this:  Jesus never broke a promise.  “He has given us great and precious promises….that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.”  (2 Peter 1:4)

a.  Do you question where you are going?  He promises to give direction to our lives.  “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

b.  Are you tired?  Do the hardships in your life make you feel weary?  Do you feel like throwing in the towel?  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)

c.  Do you feel weak?  Is the road too hard?  Is the task too overwhelming?  Is the mountain too steep?  Have the dark clouds rolled in and taken away your joy?  Do you feel like the little five year old boy I heard recently who said, “I’ve lost my happy.”  “He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31)

We must know him in the supremacy of his promises because he has said that “he will supply all our needs according to his riches in glory.” (Philippians 4:19)  He has promised us that “Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” (Romans 8:37-39)

We must know the supremacy of his promise because it is by this promise that we are saved.  If we grasp and act on this promise we will live with Christ for all of eternity.  “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”  (Romans 10:9)

 

Everything seems like it has to be accomplished A.S.A.P

We often find ourselves to busy to stop and say a prayer
when we have a rough day.  In this life everything seems like
it has to be accomplished A.S.A.P.  So we often forget to
speak to God in prayer about it before we react.

  Therefore one must remember that; The effective, 
fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
( JAMES 5:16 *NIV )  More powerful and more
effective than anything else on this Earth, even when we 
must react  As Soon As Possible.

  Have you ever wondered about the

abbreviation  A.S.A.P.?  Generally we think of it in terms
of even more hurry and stress in our lives.  Maybe if we
think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will
begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days
along the way...

  So when.......

Abram, Abraham

[Ā'brăm,Ā'brăhăm] - the father of a multitude.

The original name of the youngest son of Terah was Abram, meaning "father of height." Abraham was given to him when the promise of a numerous progeny was renewed to him by God (Gen. 11:26; 17:5, 9).

The Man Who Was God's Friend

Abraham's place in the Bible's portrait gallery is altogether unique and unapproachable. He stands out as a landmark in the spiritual history of the world. Chosen of God to become the father of a new spiritual race, the file leader of a mighty host, the revelation of God found in him one of its most important epochs. In himself, there was not much to make him worthy of such a distinction. His choice was all of grace.

Abraham's life is given us in detail, and we know him as we know few men of the Bible. He was from the great and populous city of Ur, and therefore a Gentile although he became the first Hebrew. He was a rough, simple, venerable Bedouin-like sheep master. He uttered no prophecy, wrote no book, sang no song, gave no laws. Yet in the long list of Bible saints he alone is spoken of as "the father of the faithful" and as "the friend of God" (Isa. 41:8). Let us briefly sketch his story and character.

I. He was born in Ur of the Chaldees, of parents who were heathen. Little is known of him until he was seventy years old, a striking proof that he had yielded himself to God before he left his heathen home for the far-off land of Canaan.

II. He received a distinct revelation from God, and of God, but we are not told how and when. This, however, we do know: He gave up a certainty for an uncertainty and went out not knowing whither he went. Willingly he surrendered the seen for the unseen.

III. He was taught the lesson of patience, of waiting upon the Eternal God. It was many years before the promise of God was fulfilled to him - promises three in number - of a country, Canaan; of posterity, as the stars of heaven; of a spiritual seed, through whom all the families of the earth would be blessed.

IV. He believed as he waited. His soul fed upon the promises of God. He believed God in the face of long delay and also amid difficulties that seemed insuperable. This is why he is called "the father of all them that believe."

V. He was renowned for his active, working, living faith (Gen. 15:6). Abraham believed in God and it was counted to him for righteousness.

VI. He was subject to failures. His character, like the sun, had its spots. Abraham's conduct to Hagar on two occasions, in sending her away, is painful to remember. Then his departure from Canaan into Egypt when the famine was on was surely not an act of faith. The falsehood which on two occasions he told with regard to Sarah his wife gives us a glimpse into a natural character somewhat cowardly, deceitful and distrustful (Gen. 12:19; 20:2).

VII. He was called to offer up special sacrifices. The first is fully described in Genesis fifteen, where the five victims offered in sacrifice to God were symbolic and typical of the whole Mosaic economy to come. Then we have the offering up of Isaac, an act of faith on Abraham's part and yet a trial of faith (Gen. 22 ). What a demand God made! But Abraham did not withhold his only son of promise. What God wanted was Abraham's heart, not Isaac's life. So when the knife was raised to slay Isaac, a provided substitute appeared. After this sacrifice Abraham received the testimony that he had pleased God.

The Bible offers us many types of Christ, Isaac being one of the chiefest, but Abraham is the only type in Scripture of God the Father. Abraham so loved God as to give up his only son, and centuries before Christ was born entered into the inner heart of John 3:16. After serving God faithfully, Abraham died when 175 years of age.

There are many profitable lessons to be gleaned from the biography of this notable man of God:

Faith has always trials. Being a Christian does not mean that trial is impossible or unnecessary. The greater the faith, the greater the trial.

Faith shines through the cloud. How the patience and meekness of Jesus are manifest through His trials! Take away Abraham's trials and where is his faith? Faith must be tried, in order that faith may live.

Faith in spite of trial glorifies God. Abraham's story is written in tears and blood, but how God was glorified by his trials of faith! Abraham's obedience of faith earned him the honor, "Abraham My friend!" Truly, there is no greater rank or greater honor than to be described thus. Yet such is our privilege if ours is the obedience of faith, for did not Jesus say, "I have called you friends"? He also said, "Ye are my friends if ye do whatsoever I command you."

Asa [Ā'să] - physician.

[Ā'să] - physician.

1. The third king of Judah who succeeded Abijah. He was the great-grandson of Solomon (1 Kings 15; 2 Chron. 14-16). He was an ancestor of Jesus Christ (Matt. 1:7, 8).

The Man Who Was Good and Right

Asa is a marvel. In spite of the fact that his father was a sinful man and his mother a heathen woman, he yet shines forth as one of Judah's most godly kings. He is praised for his religious zeal which led him to reform the worship of the people. Because of his devotion to God he deposed his idolatrous mother - an astonishing act for an oriental.

Asa's heart toward God was like David's and such was the secret of his godliness in a foul environment. He is spoken of as doing "that which was good and right in the eyes of the Lord, his God." Some people are presumptuous enough to settle what is good and right in their own eyes. Asa, however, did not invent a goodness or righteousness he could adapt to his own convenience and ambition. He only wanted what was good and right in God's sight.

I. Asa prayed before battle. He did not shrink from war with the Ethiopians. Before meeting the foe he met God. "Lord, it is nothing with Thee to help."

II. Asa began upon a good foundation. It took courage and Asa "took courage, and put away the abominable idols." Our idols of fortune, fashion, popularity, self-indulgence, must be severely dealt with if we desire God's best. We can only be right with God and with one another when we are right about our little gods, and man-made idols.

III. Asa was victorious. Being right with God, Asa was honored of Him. His foes surrendered for they saw that his God was with him.

IV. Asa was impartial. The grandeur of this good king is seen in that he would not even allow his mother to keep an idol. So he ruthlessly destroyed the little royal shrine. What was wrong for the subject was also wrong for the queen. Thus horrible abominations had to be abolished. No wonder when Asa died, his people sorely missed and mourned him!

Do all things without Complaining

     As a Child of God you are now;"You are the light of the
world. ( Matthew 5:14 )  For you were once darkness,
but now you are light in the Lord.  Walk as children
of light.                                 ( Ephesians 5:8 )

      When we walk in God's Light our hearts become reflectors
 of His Great Light.  We become a beacon to others especially
 those who are still living in darkness.

     So, Let your light so shine before men, that
they may see your good works and glorify your Father
in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)  For by doing so we plant
seeds of faith in those who have lost their way, and  I say
to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven
over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just
persons who need no repentance.  ( Luke 15:7 )

     Further; If we walk in the light as He is in the light,
we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of
Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.  
( 1 John 1:7 ) So it's a win, win, situation indeed.  

     Therefore, Arise, shine; For your light
has come And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
